Before the destruction of the flood, Noah walked with God and was moved with fear...By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. Hebrews 11:7. God told Noah He was going to bring a flood of waters to destroy all flesh: And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth...And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.
Genesis 6:13 & 17... But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord...and walked with God. Genesis 6:5-8
Hebrews 11:7 teaches us that Noah, by faith, moved with fear, obeying God's Word to build an ark to escape the coming dreadful flood and destruction of all life upon the earth and to enter it with his family and certain animals just prior to the flood. And Noah did according unto all that the LORD commanded him. Genesis 7:5. To the believer, 'fearing God', in this passage, is to have reverence and obedience towards Him as God - the creator of all things. Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God is a consuming fire.
Hebrews 12:28
After the flood and during Christ's time on earth, came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness...Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand...The voice of the one crying out in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. Matthew 3: 1-2. I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I...he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire. Matthew3:11. Then began Jesus's ministry with his first public words being: From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Matthew 4:17. Jesus also told His hearers that without repentance, they would perish. Luke 13:3.
After Christ's crucifixion upon the cross, Christ appeared to His disciples and reminded them of the words He spoke to them. He commanded them saying: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. Luke 24:43. After Christ, it was Paul preaching, Repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. Acts 20:21. At Pentecost it was Peter preaching and commanding his hearers to repent. Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 2:38. Without repentance, there is no remission of sins; we are still under His wrath. Peter further said, Repent . . . and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out. Acts 3:19. We cannot be "converted" unless we repent. God Himself commands all men everywhere (leaving no exceptions) to repent. Acts 17:30...Now we have to ask: Repent of what and why?

God is God, and before the beginning of time, He has had His plans, laws, and reasons. Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, 2 Timothy 1:9. He also reminds us: For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. Isaiah 55:8. We are also told that Jesus is returning to: Restore His Kingdom, Judge everyone, Take the righteous dead and living to heaven and Destroy the earth of wickedness and Satan/sin forever. This was why Jesus was sent to earth and crucified. Because God is God, we are to trust His plans...
But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. 2 Peter 3:7
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
Not one soul repented under Noah's 120 years of preaching. No one beyond his family got saved. No one cared. Matthew 24:37-38 tells us that everyone just wanted to eat, drink, have sex, and party. Is this not the wicked world today? Today, we hear the message again and it is another solemn last message of mercy preparing us for Christ's return and for the final destruction of the world this time by fire... How many will be saved in the everlasting kingdom? May we all study His word and come to the truth and repentance is our prayer
But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Matthew 24:37-39
So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure: Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer: 2 Thessalonians 1:4-5
And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
Revelation 14:6-12
Now we also have to ask: What do you think about this mark of the beast and his image?
TODAY, what are the signs Christ is returning soon and WHY is He returning and for WHAT PURPOSE? HOW and WILL WE be READY for His return? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. John 14:3 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 |
Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. 2 Pet 3:14 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. Matthew 16:27 |
I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. Revelation 1:18
The soul that has given himself to Christ is more precious in His sight than the whole world. The Saviour would have passed through the agony of Calvary that one might be saved in His kingdom. He will never abandon one for whom He has died. Unless His followers choose to leave Him, He will hold them fast...Through all our trials we have a never-failing Helper. He does not leave us alone to struggle with temptation, to battle with evil, and be finally crushed with burdens and sorrow. Though now He is hidden from mortal sight, the ear of faith can hear His voice saying, Fear not; I am with you. I am He that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive forevermore... I have endured your sorrows, experienced your struggles, encountered your temptations. I know your tears; I also have wept. The griefs that lie too deep to be breathed into any human ear, I know. Think not that you are desolate and forsaken. Though your pain touch no responsive chord in any heart on earth, look unto Me, and live. The mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but My kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of My peace be removed, saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee.
